Limeade Blast

Yield: 5 servings    Level: Easy

Ingredients

7 medium limes

¾ Cup of Honey or Maple Syrup

5 Cups Drinking water

Frozen berries (if desired)

Rinse all limes thoroughly, roll six the limes back and forth on the counter applying pressure with the heel of your hand, this makes it easier to juice as it opens upthe individual segments inside. Cut limes in half, and juice them using a juicer, watch out for tiny seeds. This should yield about ½ cup of lime juice, strain for pulp and pour into pitcher. 

Heat to boil 1 cup of water in the microwave.  Rinse then add honey or maple syrup and cup of hotwater into pitcher and stir thoroughly, now add 4 cups of ice cold water and stir till well blended. Taste for sweetness and adjust as desired, garnish with lime slices and frozen berries.
